Looking for speaker suggestions
by Julian Ridden - Monday, 3 February 2014, 8:02 AM

The ramp up of preparation for iMoot 2014 is well underway and we are asking for your help to ensure we create the best event ever.

The first thing we are looking for is of course great speakers! Did you attend a conference or Moot in the past year and hear a speaker you thought was outstanding? If so, we need to hear about it?

Feel free to respond to this thread with any speakers you think would be suitable for this event so we can follow up. The more information you can give us the better. This would include:

  • Their name.
  • Basic contact info (at least an email)
  • Links to Slideshare if they use it
  • Their website if they have one.

We look forward to brining you the best program possible and can't wait to hear your suggestions. Remember that you can also submit your own session submissions as well!

Looking forward to another iMoot.  Could you please tell me the deadline for speaker submissions if you have decided on one?

Hi Julian

Looking forward to another brilliant Imoot.

I'm in the Government training sector (NSW Office of State Revenue) and I was thinking of putting in one or two presentation suggestions:

1. showing how we are saving time with the use of groups and groupings in Moodle 2.5 in blended training and assessment.

2. moving from course certificates to badges - why we are and what we are 'badging'

I think the audience would be teacher / trainer / facilitators - any level.

What do you think?
