Will the recordings that include screen sharing be quickly available, or will there be a delay like last year?
Ideas & Suggestions
Also - is it possible to download the recordings for offline viewing? Streaming is (covers his face and sobs loudly) really rather impossible in mainland China. Here the foreign internet (anything outside China) is kind of feeble and broken by the great digital Golden Shield. This works for the government as it discourages locals from using foreign websites but it makes expats want to cry.
Hopefully everyone has found the recordings in the session rooms OK?
You'll notice the screenshare is appearing on the recording along with the chat session (at least those I've looked at do!).
I think they are appearing quicker than last year, Blindside networks did the processing for this last year and I think improved their workflow for this year's Moot.
Sorry Ben but you can't yet download them. Remember one of the benefits of registering for iMoot is access to the recordings on the site before they are published on YouTube.
This may be an unsupported, unofficial feature but I right clicked on a session recording and was able to save the file as an .m4v.
Thanks for this tip Sam! I hope this helps you Ben :)
Can we please ask that everyone respect that only paid iMoot attendees should have access to recordings until they are publicly released by the iMoot team on The Pukunui YouTube Channel with previous iMoot videos.
