Food!

What better way to celebrate the different countries and cultures attending the iMoot, than posting some picks of food. (It's practically the national hobby here in Malaysia!).

So I thought I'd start it off by posting my breakfast, after an early start catching up on missed sessions! - Rawa dosa - yum!

Penang's (Malaysia) Assam Laksa was voted No. 7 under CNNGo International Food Survey as "foods worth traveling the world to gorge on” in 2011.

It's a fusion of many tastes. Spicy, aromatic, tangy, fish meat, minty. Gotta give it a try if you
are in the Pearl of the Orient, Penang.

My daughter knew how stressed I was about doing my presentation and made dinner for me.  I'm on a wheat free diet so she made me this wonderful "pasta" dish made with zucchini noodles, tomatoes, olives, chicken and pesto.  The noodles where made with fresh zucchini and a apple peeler.  It was soooo good.

Paula - that looks very yummy what nice thing for your daughter to do - I use a mandolin to cut the zucchini in thin noodles but I think I like apple peeler trick

I am on the low no carb diet as well so I cooked up a batch of ratatouille/red rice/asparagus myself
